About your author

As the author of this research, I have taken it upon myself to provide you, the reader, with the most riveting tale of dirt, worms, and farming you have ever heard (granted, it shouldn’t be that difficult). I grew up in suburban Wisconsin, and was promptly ripped away from it all to live in the noise and the cement of Shanghai, China. I am a vegetarian (because the absurd amount of water involved in raising livestock concerns me, an issue which I’ll cover in this capstone). I will be an environmental policy major at Colorado College in Colorado Springs this fall, and I want to change the way people (especially urban dwellers) feel about food and farming.
