For my third move, I want to discuss how water is used in the United States.  In all honesty, I’m not sure exactly how strictly this will follow with my agricultural theme.  I think that agriculture is a large part of the water dilemma that this country is facing, but not all of it.   As I mentioned previously, I want to use this to illustrate how as time has progressed, the severity of situations that many species face.  By talking about water use in terms of the United States as a whole, I hope to highlight how our poor choices regarding water use are not limited to affecting ourselves, but also are very detrimental to the natural balance of aquatic ecosystems.  I have a few ideas for proposed changes that could be made to alter the way we use water, but before those can happen it is necessary to establish the current situation and better understand the types of ways water is used and what problems we will likely face in the future.
